Bradley Central High School's Patrick Spangler Named 2025–2026 Principal of the Year

Bradley County Schools is proud to announce that Mr. Patrick Spangler, Principal of Bradley Central High School, has been selected as the 2025–2026 Principal of the Year for Bradley County Schools.

Mr. Spangler’s leadership has made a lasting impact on the Bradley Central community. Under his direction, the school continues to thrive through a culture of excellence, teamwork, and Bear pride. His dedication to students, staff, and families is evident in every aspect of school life.

This recognition highlights Mr. Spangler’s commitment to academic achievement, student growth, and community engagement.

Congratulations to Mr. Spangler on this well-deserved honor, and thank you for your continued dedication to the students of Bradley County Schools.

Lady Bruins Shine in First Girls’ Wrestling Tournament

The Lady Bruins from Lake Forest Middle School made an impressive debut at their very first girls’ wrestling tournament. Eighteen student-athletes competed with outstanding effort and sportsmanship, earning medals in nine out of thirteen weight classes, including three gold medals.

Their hard work, determination, and teamwork were on full display throughout the event, marking an exciting beginning for the growing girls’ wrestling program at Lake Forest. The school and community are incredibly proud of these young athletes and look forward to their continued success on and off the mat.

WACKER Honors Innovation with New Installation at PIE Innovation Center

A new addition to the PIE Innovation Center celebrates the spirit of innovation and community partnership. WACKER Chemical Corporation has gifted a bust of its founder, Alexander Wacker, to be permanently displayed in the WACKER Commons at the PIE Innovation Center in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Originally displayed at WACKER’s global headquarters, the sculpture now serves as a symbol of the strong connection between the company’s international legacy and its commitment to education and workforce development in Bradley County.

The base of the bust was designed and built by local WACKER Charleston team members, making the installation a true collaboration between global innovation and local craftsmanship.

This meaningful addition highlights the ongoing partnership between WACKER and Bradley County Schools, inspiring students to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and manufacturing.

Bradley County Schools Hosts Fall Parent Advisory Meeting

Bradley County Schools recently held its fall Parent Advisory Meeting, bringing together family representatives from across the district to discuss current initiatives, upcoming events, and key priorities for the school year.

The Parent Advisory Board meets twice each year and serves as a valuable connection between families and district leadership. Members provide feedback, share perspectives from their schools, and engage in conversations about programs, achievements, and opportunities within the district.

Through these meetings, Bradley County Schools continues to strengthen its partnership with families and ensure that parent voices play an active role in shaping the educational experience for all students.

 National School Psychology Week

Throughout the week of November 37, 2025, Bradley County Schools will join thousands of other communities in celebrating National School Psychology Week (NSPW), with the theme “Finding Your Path.”

This year’s theme, “Finding Your Path,” recognizes the ways that school psychologists take an active role in helping everyone in their communities determine paths to learning, growth, and overall well-being that meet their unique needs. Through their deep expertise and training in consultation, collaboration, and evidence-based practices, school psychologists empower others to set their destination and find a route that fits their needs, all while sharing tools to help them thrive along the way.
